2 Kings 18:1-8

At the time Hezekiah became king, he moved on to do what was right in the sight of the LORD. Have you been recently lifted up by God? Did you do what was right just like Hezekiah did when he became king? Among many of the right things Hezekiah did before God was, according to 2 Kings 18:4, ÒHe removed the high places and broke the sacred pillars, cut down the wooden image and broke in pieces the bronze serpent that Moses had made; for until those days the children of Israel burned incense to it and called it Nehushtan.Ó He proved to God that only God could have brought Him that far. Will you be willing to burn all the high places in place in your life? Every thing you have lifted up above God in your life is your high place. Think of any area of life that is not transparent to your environment. What are you counting or holding on to as a backup? What about anything that is representing deadness? Deadness is every ungodly part of you. You have to realize that God is the lifter of your head and He single-handedly brought you to this new level. Go today and burn off all the representatives of high places in your life. God will prosper you wherever you go.
