Isaiah 32:16-19, Luke 14:1-14

You have just found yourself on an unfamiliar ground. Things have changed from the way it used to be. You have been moved to a new ground that is higher than where you have always been. It could also be the same level from where you were before, but on a different ground. Also, it does not matter if it is actually at a lower level to where you want to be. The bottom line is, let humility be your garment. Be gentle and quiet in all that you are doing on this new ground of yours. Let righteousness have its work and its effect on you. Isaiah 32:17, ÒThe work of righteousness will be peace, and the effect of righteousness, quietness and assurance forever.Ó On this new ground of yours, let the Lord place you by Himself while you avoid placing yourself by yourself. An attempt to place yourself by yourself will make you to miss your placement. Always remember that God moved you to this new ground and He will give you a better placement. It is good to be ambitious, and being ambitious should not take away your humility. Do not let your shoulder rise above your head in order for you to remain effective on your new ground. Luke 14:11, ÒFor whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be exalted.Ó Allow humility to constantly be your garment. God in His goodness and mercy will exalt you.
