Confirmation

1 Samuel 10

In every confirmation, there is always a confrontation. When God decided to chose Saul as the first king in < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel, the enemy took a stand of confrontation. God has confirmed you for advancement in a certain area of your life and you are set to go. Know that God will see you through. Confrontation will come, but your continuation will not cease because God has called you. Did He not call you? God anointed Saul to become a commander over His people. God directed Samuel as we read in 1 Samuel 10:1, ÒThen Samuel took a flask of oil and poured it on his head, and kissed him and said: ÔIs it not because the LORD has anointed you commander over His inheritance?ÕÓ Man did not call him, people did not anoint Saul, it was God Himself that called him and anointed Him. One typically expects a smooth sail and no confrontation. 1 Samuel 10:27, ÒBut some rebels said, ÔHow can this man save us?Õ So they despised him, and brought him no presents. But he held his peace.ÕÓ Does that sound like your situation? Is your confrontation coming from inside your family or from your closest friends? Let it be known to you, He that called you will back you up. The word of God is not a decoration it is for us to operate in it. Learn from King Saul. He held his peace because it is of God. If yours is not of God then there is problem. If you know it is not a scheme in any form, go ahead and hold on to peace of God that surpasses all understanding.
