Crossing Over< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>
Numbers 20:1-13
The journey of life does not go straight, it has ups and downs. There are always twists and turns before getting to the expected end. Moses was a giant in the hand of God when his journey went through ups and downs. He was to lead the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel in crossing over to the promise land after years of journey. Moses failed; he could not lead them through in crossing over. Moses did not follow through with GodÕs command. God asked him to speak to the rock but he struck the rock twice with his rod. Numbers 20:12, ÒThen the LORD spoke to Moses and Aaron, ÔBecause you did not believe Me, to hallow Me in the eyes of the children of Israel, therefore you shall not bring this assembly into the land which I have given them.ÕÓ On the account of the children of Israel, Moses could not get to the end of journey that he strongly desired. Are you about to cross over in your journey? Ask God to cross out all that will prohibit you from crossing over to your promise land. Moses pleaded with God, but it was not accepted, Deuteronomy 3:25, ÒI pray, let me cross over and see the good land beyond the Jordan, those pleasant mountains, and Lebanon.Ó Before you get to the point where no pleading or prayer will get you to the good land, ask God to cross out any force or agent that will deny you from getting to the good land. It was in the account of the Israelites that denied Moses. Deuteronomy 3:26, ÒBut the Lord was angry with me on your account, and would not listen to me. So the LORD said to me: Enough of that! Speak no more to Me on this matter.Ó Your situation might not be on any oneÕs account but on your own action and how you are living this life. Ask God for help today and He will answer.
