Acts 7:35-43

As the going gets tough, what or who have you been listening to? That which will make the difference in your trial time depends on who you have been listening to. Psalm 95:7, ÒFor He is our God, and we are the people of His pasture and the sheep of His hand. Today if you will hear His voice: ÔDo not harden your hearts, as in the rebellion, as in the day of trial in the wilderness.Ó  If you have been listening outside the word of God there will be no way out. If you are listening to the word of God without taking to His word, you have allowed hardness of heart to have its way. Turning back from God starts in the heart. Turning back from God is not a sudden occurrence; it takes its root when hardness of heart comes to play in the life of a believer. The children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel will not obey the word of God despite the demonstration of His power in their midst. Acts 7:39, ÒWhom our fathers would not obey, but rejected and in their hearts they turned back to EgyptWhere you are now is a passage to your breakthrough if you will let the word of God guide you and see you through. Psalm 33:8, ÒI will instruct you and teach you in the way you should go; I will guide with my eye.Ó  He is a faithful God. Listen to His voice and let no hardness of the heart deny you where He is taking you. It will always be too early to turn back from Him. He is also the God of the eleventh hour. The moment you begin to say it is too late is when He shows up with His awesome power. Today, encourage yourself in the Lord God who is living.
