Exodus 2:23-25, 3

Some things have to die for another thing to have life. Some things have to die for you, before your cry becomes a provoking cry. The children of Israel were in bondage of over four hundred years and they did not know there was a need for them to cry out and groan for their breakthrough out of bondage. The Bible recorded, ÒNow it happened in the process of time that the king of Egypt died. Then the children of Israel groaned because of the bondage, and they cried out; and their cry came up to God because of the bondage. 24 So God heard their groaning, and God remembered His covenant with Abraham, with Isaac, and with Jacob. 25 And God looked upon the children of Israel, and God acknowledged them.Ó The death of the King of Egypt was the transformer for the children of Israel. When the King of Egypt died, the children of Israel began to render a provoking and attention-gaining cry to heaven. Before the death of the King of Egypt, they must have been comfortable and in a land that was not promised to them. With the children of Israel, the promise of getting to the Promised Land was at sleep for over four hundred years. The death of the King of Egypt was the triggering agent for the revival, for the need to be out of bondage of over four hundred years. The death of the king of Egypt caused the groaning of the children of Israel that set them in motion to where God wanted for them to be. Evidently, when they called by groaning and crying, God heard and He remembered His covenant. God did not just hear the groaning and crying of the children of Israel but He looked upon them and He acknowledged them. Are you in any kind of trapped situation where stagnation has taken the place of motion? Have you been crying by rendering a silent or open cry unto Him? Do you desire for God to look upon you for your breakthrough? When He looks upon you will you look up to Him? When He looks upon you, transformation is certain. Psalm 34:5, ÒThey looked to Him and were radiant, and their faces were not the ashamed.Ó God by His hand brought them out of the bondage of over four hundred years. If you are looking for a closed situation, the children of Israel were a typical example to learn from. There case of over four hundred years could no longer stand when the King of Egypt died and God heard their cry and groaning. The children of Israel entered into a deliverance journey. God will hear your crying and groaning in Jesus name.
