DO IT DIFFERENTLY< ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>1 Samuel 1, Luke 17:11-37

ÒThen as He entered a certain village, there met Him ten men who were lepers, who stood afar off. 13 And they lifted up their voices and said, ÒJesus, Master, have mercy on us!Ó 14 So when He saw them, He said to them, ÒGo, show yourselves to the priests.Ó And so it was that as they went, they were cleansed.Ó (Luke 17: 12-14) It could be that the ten lepers or some of the ten must have missed Jesus in His passing number of times before they decided to do it differently in order to receive their healing. As a leper, law restricted their movement and they could not just flow with the crowd. This could have prompted them to stand afar and call out with loud voices. Until they were loud, they could not become a showcase for His glory. Could it be that it is time for you to do it differently in order to receive your healing miracle? The Psalmist encouraged us in the way he was receiving from Him by saying, ÒI will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help.Ó (Psalm 121:1) The ten lepers injected their own way of receiving by lifting up voices but not because the Lord is deaf and cannot hear. How have you adapted to calling on Him in every passing moment of the Lord? Just like the lepers seeking miracles, Hannah was also seeking her miracle while going to Shiloh every year. In her going, she must have been quiet to herself in her prayers while enjoying fellowshipping with her husband. One year, however, she did differently when she was provoked of her barrenness by Peninnah, her husbandÕs wife. ÒAnd her rival also provoked her severely, to make her miserable, because the LORD had closed her womb. 7 So it was, year by year, when she went up to the house of the LORD, that she provoked her; therefore she wept and did not eat. (1 Samuel1:7) Instead of the regular fellowshipping that Hannah had always been having in her trip to Shiloh, she did it differently by weeping and not eating. Heaven was provoked on behalf of Hannah and her doing it differently brought forth her miracle. The lepers added to the Psalmist way of doing it when they lifted their voices to gain HeavenÕs attention. Lifting voices could not have been possible until they lifted their eyes and saw Jesus passing. If they had not lifted their eyes, they would not have been able to see the need of lifting their voices. How can you do it differently from the way you have been doing it in order to provoke Heaven for your miracle? Lift eyes, lift voice, cry unto Him, abstain from eating, combine all of the three or add more. It can never be too much and the more you elevate your approach the more it gets to Him. He is a faithful God and He will never turn away from your way of doing it.
