FAITH CAPSULE: Information from God is the transformation unto God’s side.
Psalm 27
Where have you been putting your trust? The question is not who you trust. It is one thing to say, “I trust God”, but it is another thing for one to actually put trust in Him. Could it be that you think you trust Him? Trust should not be about thought; it should be a knowing that comes from an understanding that God’s name is a strong tower.
In every area of challenge, a failure to trust and rest in Him is a passage to rust and fall for one’s challenge. It is worthy to trust in Him and rest from rust.
The source of trusting God is in knowing the name of God. The Psalmist stated clearly, “And those who know Your name will put their trust in You; for You, Lord, have not forsaken those who seek You.” (Psalm 9:10) As a result of this statement, it is clear that the source of trust is in knowing the name of God not just knowing about the name of God. Ones that truly know His name shall seek Him and one cannot seek Him and not found Him.
Trusting God has not been working for you because you assume you know when the fact is, you only know about Him. Until there is a place for understanding and knowledge of information, transformation is in total and complete delay. Consider this a serious detriment to your breakthrough in life. Information from God is the transformation unto God’s side. When you are transformed unto His side nothing formed against you will prosper. You will rest and put all your trust in His awesome power of deliverance. In trusting God there is undeniable victory over confronting challenges. After the killing of Goliath, David became popular and becoming the king after Saul was eminent. Saul knowing it that David was set to be the next king charged after David’s life. David, from mountain to mountain, wilderness to wilderness was being chased by Saul and all the resources in the power of Saul, to kill and stop David from getting to his divine destination. In every step that David took, it is written that he constantly asked from God about when, where and how to move. That was a demonstration of putting trust in the name of God. It is written, “And David stayed in strongholds in the wilderness, and remained in the mountains in the Wilderness of Ziph. Saul sought him every day, but God did not deliver him into his hand.” (1Samuel 23:14) David put his entire move in the trust of God. Are you one that knows to trust God or knows about trust? Why not examine your conscience and determine within yourself if you have actually been consciously and consistently putting your trust in Him during stormy season.
Prayer for today: Ask God for His grace that enables understanding and knowledge to trust Him.
