FAITH CAPSULE: Live life consistently by the word of God and watch things change overnight for God’s glory over your life.
Exodus 2
Complaint, discouragement or anxiousness is not what you need at this point of unexpected changes in every area of life. Unexpected changes overnight are causing friends to scatter from you and no longer be there to help. Do not count on man to answer as your help. It seems that your surrounding is beginning to wonder how long you will be going through unexpected changes. However, get to know that God will see you through if you will keep seeing through in the word of God. Psalmist pointed out, “Many are the afflictions of the righteous, but the Lord delivers him out of them all.” (Psalm 34:19) God is faithful to honor His word if man should focus on God with no complaint, discouragement or anxiousness.
Anxiousness is not of God but builds up worrying inside of man. In life, worrying is the opposite of worship. One with worrying shall disengage self from worshiping God. Where there is no worship issue of life will occupy one’s life. Apostle Paul admonished as stated, “Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God.” (Philippians 4:6) Word of God that enters into heart is the way to be above any issues of life by trusting and hoping that the word of God is true to perform with perfection. Unexpected changes can be challenging but with God it is impossible to keep one down. In the bible days, unexpected changes responded to God’s intervention in the life of many.
Moses was born and breaded in the great palace of Pharaoh. From age three months old before unexpected changes Moses was not exposed to any life in the desert. When Moses flee from palace he ended up in the desert. Without any experience as a shepherd, Moses became a shepherd at desert ground. In time of unexpected change, there was no record of complaint by Moses but he was content. By unexpected changes from palace to desert, “…Moses was content to live with the man, and he gave Zipporah his daughter to Moses.” (Exodus 2:21) Moses’ unexpected changes were not comfortable but built him up as a giant in the hand of God. Joseph the dreamer’s unexpected changes relocated him from the presence of his father’s love because of wickedness of his brothers. Joseph went down into pit; from pit to slavery and from slavery to prison. Eventually, Joseph’s unexpected changes positioned him from prison to prime minister of the whole land of Egypt. One which can envision how God turns unexpected changes to God’s glory platform will capture self in the reality of living life for the glory of God.
The truth is, God constantly want to be glorified and make Himself a glorious name. He is a jealous God that is mindful of man. With unexpected changes God is in position to see man through when man maintains trust and hope on God.
Prayer for today: Ask God for His grace to bring you above unexpected changes.
