GOD IS ENOUGH FOR YOU

FAITH CAPSULE: What is it that a man does have to offer you?

1 Samuel 13

The journey of life is to know not to be committed to no man but only to God.
Jesus selected few to walk along with Him day and night but He could not commit Himself to any man. The bible records, “But Jesus did not commit Himself to them, because He knew all men.” (John 2:24)
Jesus did not commit Himself to no man. Is there any lesson for your journey in life?
Who do you commit yourself to?
Who do you commit to and get help from?
God is indeed the Caring taker of caretaker.
God has not failed, He will not fail and He is waiting to act those who wait on His committed caring love. Isaiah 64:4 testifies about the caring of God, “For since the beginning of the world men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
What is it that a man does have to offer you?
God is enough for man to be committed instead of committing to man. God alone is the Helping helper of man that has never fail.
Looking for help from the wrong sources is the evidence of limiting the caring love of God.
Often time, your help will not come from where you are looking or counting for your help to come.
Saul was confirmed by God as King of the children of Israel. As the king, he looking outside of God, the evidence of not committing on God, but seeking help from the people that surrounded him.
Saul, at his war against Philistines, he could not wait for the role of the Prophet of God to carry out the burnt offering. Saul disobeyed the law of God as to engage burnt offering, the assignment which belonged to Samuel the priest of God.
The Bible records the confrontation of Saul by Samuel after his burnt offering, “…What have you done?” Saul said, “When I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, then I said, ‘The Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.’ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.”(1 Samuel 13:11-12) Committing to man instead of God is an error, an avenue to self-destruction.
Meditate on the testimonies of the caring of God continually to disallow a failure like King Saul.
Meditate what God can do, what He has done, and what He is doing to provoke the blessing of God.
Think about it, it is God alone that has brought you this far, and He will not leave you nor forsake you.
Are you wondering where your help will come from? Help from God is certain and will surely come to be.

Prayer for today: Ask God to enable your commit only to Him.
