FAITH CAPSULE: Know to pray for the will of God.
Luke 11:1-23
A prayer that will not miss the attention of God is when asking to be doing the will of God. As a believer or unbeliever, ask from God to be living life by the will of God. In the prayer lesson, Jesus taught His disciples to pray for the will of God. (Matthew 6:10)
The will of God is His plans or thoughts concerning the life which He has given to His creation. God confirms in Jeremiah 29:11, “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.”
Revelation 4:11 records the thoughts of God towards His creation:
“You are worthy, O Lord, To receive glory and honor and power; For You created all things, And by Your will, they exist and were created.”
It is the will of God for all His creation to exists for His glory.
God is worthy!
Glory and honor belong to God.
Power belongs to God alone.
God meant what He said, and He will do what He says He will do.
God is a good God with good thoughts toward His children.
The good thoughts of God are not in the assembly line but already in place.
It is for your benefit to know, understand, and be asking for the will of God in your life.
Jesus encourages, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9)
He did not say beg because you do not beg for what has been in place for you. But with the evidence of having a desire for the will of God, you ask, seek, and knock to receive from Him.
Asking is praying or calling on God through the name of Jesus Christ. Asking sometimes requires consistency or persistency, but the bottom line is that children will have to ask before receiving.
Prayer does not have to be in multitudes of words nor colorful words.
Prayer is not limited to time or location.
Prayer does not have to be in repetition; it does not matter if prayer is loud or quiet but engage fervent prayer.
A prayer encased in the word of God is with power prayer that moves mountains, rooted in faith. Faith has its source in the Word of God, and through the Bible, mountains could not resist, but the prayer of faith moves mountains.
Do you carry the word of God?
In your prayer, the word that you carry will answer as fire to burn off the agenda forces before you to the glory of God. Jeremiah 23:29 confirms, “Is not My word like a fire?” says the Lord…”
The word of God is fire.
With the knowledge and understanding in the word of God, know to ask and not fail to receive, not to miss manifestation, live life for the will of God.
Prayer for today: Ask God to enable you seeking to live by His will.
