WHO ARE YOU

FAITH CAPSULE: A liar is nothing but a twister of the truth of God.

Acts 5

Twisting the word of God is adding or taking away from the word of God.
Twisting the truth of God can be lying in the place of telling the truth.
Twisting the truth is evil that needs to be avoided, not to be part of the way of life.
Deuteronomy 19:19 warns, “…so you shall put away the evil from among you.”
Put away lies the identity of the evil.
By your action and your word, are you responsible for twisting the truth of God?
Avoid being ignoring or not intervene to correct lies that are not true. An adage states, “Tell the truth and let the enemy be ashamed.”
As a believer, there is no excuse to avoid or not to deny liars that you know.
Are you an acclaimed believer of the word of God but twisting the truth of God?
By telling lies, God is not deceived-able at all times.
Give yourself to the word of God to attain perfection in Christ Jesus as
Colossians 1:28 buttress, “Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus.”
Search for yourself to determine your stand before God.
Refrain from twisting the truth of God as your ways for self-defense while engaging in wrongdoing.
One engaging in twisting the truth of God will become convinced that lying can make a way where there is no way.
Do you know that twisting the truth of God is the evidence of taking distance from God?
Twisting the truth of God will keep one far from God, to become set for evil. Psalm 56:5 testifies, “All day they twist my words; All their thoughts are against me for evil.”
Are you one with no means of controlling yourself from unwarranted talking that is a route of twisting the word of God?
Are you with the impression that God is in your twisting agenda? Romans 3:5-8 documents that twisting the truth does not stand before God at all times, “But if our unrighteousness demonstrates the righteousness of God, what shall we say? Is God unjust who inflicts wrath? (I speak as a man.) Certainly not! For then how will God judge the world? For if the truth of God has increased through my lie to His glory, why am I also still judged as a sinner? And why not say, “Let us do evil that good may come”? —as we are slanderously reported and as some affirm that we say. Their condemnation is just.”
Embracing lies is also twisting the truth of God, positioning self for destruction. Do not embrace lies as your way of life, which is the character twisting the truth that will come to light to experience exceeding pain.

Prayer for today: Pray not to live life as a liar.
