HUMBLE BEFORE GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: In your way of life, are you humble before God?

2 Chronicles 32

Among ways to be humble are identified through the pages of the Bible.
WITH FAITH IS TO BE HUMBLE
One with faith will seek God the evidence of being humble before God.
Do you have the faith to seek God?
It is faith that pleases God, and without faith, God is not pleased. (Hebrews 11:6)
One with faith to seek God pleases God also is the humble such to experience the beauty of God. Psalm 149:4 records, “For the Lord takes pleasure in His people; He will beautify the humble with salvation.”
Have faith, seek God to demonstrate as the humble one before God.
PRIDE AND WICKED IS OF EVIL NOT OF HUMBLE ONE
Psalm 147:6 records, “The Lord lifts up the humble; He casts the wicked down to the ground.”  In life, what is desirable is what God will deposit. Why not have a desire to live a life of humble not of pride, that makes one wicked before God?
The wicked is with the word of God in the mouth but far from the mind. (Jeremiah 12:1-2)
Proverbs 29:23 records about the pride,  “A man’s pride will bring him low, But the humble in spirit will retain honor.”
Make it a way of life not to be a victim of being a pride or wicked one that fails before God as a humble one.
God acknowledges one that is humble before Him.
The case of Hezekiah and his humility before God records: “In those days Hezekiah was sick and near death, and he prayed to the Lord, and He spoke to him and gave him a sign. But Hezekiah did not repay according to the favor shown him, for his heart was lifted up; therefore, wrath was looming over him and over Judah and Jerusalem. Then Hezekiah humbled himself for the pride of his heart, he and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, so that the wrath of the Lord did not come upon them in the days of Hezekiah.” (2 Chronicles 32:24-26)
In the place of unconscious or conscious of sin before God, with pending challenges of the consequence, turn to God, humble yourself with prayer before God.
Obedient to live life before God is not possible without being humble in the walk of life.
Jesus, the Lord, and savior became obedient before God because He humbles Himself.
Philippians 2:8 records, “And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”
Before God, there is no legitimate reason not to live life humbly before God to obey God, to live life for the glory of God.
Be humble to obey God!

Prayer for today: Ask that you live life for God not to be a waste in the journey of life.
