FAITH CAPSULE: All should open for the entrance of the word of God.
John 1:1-18
With no exception, the need in this wicked world of darkness is to have the light of God.
What is the light of God?
To understand what is the light of God, John 8:12 records, “Then Jesus spoke to them again, saying, “I am the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness, but have the light of life.”
The recording in John 9:5 emphasizes the truth that Jesus is the light, saying, “As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Why not give self to the light of God?
To gain the light of God is not by force.
One that accepts the light of God will not stumble in darkness.
John 11:10 admonishes, “But if one walks in the night, he stumbles because the light is not in him.”
Is it your desire to give yourself to the light of God?
Give yourself to the light for your deliverance and preservation.
One with an opening for the light of God is set for the life journey not to be a victim of a wicked world.
Psalm 119:130 testifies, “The entrance of Your words gives light; It gives understanding to the simple.”
One with the light of God shall live with understanding not to fall.
With understanding, gain knowledge to expect deliverance and preservation in the hand of God.
Job 3:23 records, “Why is light given to a man whose way is hidden, and whom God has hedged in?”
With the light of God is with the hand of God that will hedge one that accepts the light of God.
Have you accepted the light of God?
In the light of God is the hand of God that is certain to keep one having the light of God.
The testimony of Job is the reason to accept the light of God.
Call on God for His hand as a hedge against the evil occurrence.
Job 1:6-10 documents the testimony of Job
“Now there was a day when the sons of God came to present themselves before the Lord, and Satan also came among them. And the Lord said to Satan, “From where do you come?”
So, Satan answered the Lord and said, “From going to and fro on the earth, and from walking back and forth on it.” Then the Lord said to Satan, “Have you considered My servant Job, that there is none like him on the earth, a blameless and upright man, one who fears God and shuns evil? “So, Satan answered the Lord and said, “Does Job fear God for nothing? Have You not made a hedge around him, around his household, and around all that he has on every side? You have blessed the work of his hands, and his possessions have increased in the land.”
All should be open up to accept the word of God that gives light to deliver and preserve from evil.
Prayer for today: Ask God for His word to gain entrance into your life.
