TIME IS IN HIS DIRECTION

FAITH CAPSULE: One waiting on God in time for direction is the answer from God.

1 Samuel 1

The world controls the clock, but God takes control of time.
Time belongs to God, and nothing the world can do to offset the timing of God.
God will not react or respond by the clock but by His time.
Do you wait on Him by your time or by the timing of God?
The Psalmist mentioned different ways of waiting on the time of God to receive:
Psalm 25:5 states,” …On you I will wait all day.” Psalm 62:1, “Truly my soul silently waits for God…”
Psalm 37:7, “Rest in the Lord, and wait patiently for Him.”
Hosea 12:6, “…wait on your God continually.”
Philippians 3:20, “For our citizenship is in heaven, from which we also eagerly wait for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ.”
The time to wait on God has to be engaged patiently, continually, silently, and eagerly.
Waiting on God can take longer than expected, but God will always manifest Himself when we wait for His own time and not by the world clock.
Choose to wait on the time of God by knowing to request according to His word of direction.
God wants all to ask to receive.
Jesus encourages, “So I say to you, ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.” (Luke 11:9)
The Psalmist applied his request by the understanding of the word, “Turn Yourself to me, and have mercy on me, For I am desolate and afflicted.” (Psalm 25:16)
God of salvation will respond to requests rooted in His word with understanding.
Reminding God is not because God has forgotten all.
However, all should know to remind God in faith, not in doubt.
God encourages all by stating, “…and concerning the works of my hands, you command me.” (Isaiah 45:11)
Do you believe in His work to remind Him of the work of His hands?
The Psalmist reminded Him, “Remember, O Lord, Your tender mercies and Your loving kindnesses…” (Psalm 25:6)
God is a gracious God.
God enjoys giving Him attention when He is continually acknowledged by waiting on Him.
Proverbs 3:6 recorded, “In all your ways acknowledge Him, and He shall direct your paths.”
What do you need from God to be reminded and activated for your breakthrough?
The statement of Psalmist acknowledges Him, “Good and upright is the Lord; therefore He teaches sinners in the way.” (Psalm 25:8)
Waiting without acknowledging God shall be like being in anguish.
Hannah understood to request to visit Shiloh without failing to attend with her husband; attending Shiloh is for Hannah to remind God not to forget His children; Hannah understands to acknowledge God is jealous.
One waiting on God in the time for direction is the answer from God.

Prayer for today: Ask for the strength to be persistent, waiting for the direction of God.
