FAITH CAPSULE Without a doubt, waiting on God leads to finding God
1 Samuel 13
This year, seek God to find God.
One who does not seek God by His way will not find God.
Deuteronomy 4:29 admonishes all, “But from there you will seek the Lord your God, and you will find Him if you seek Him with all your heart and with all your soul.”
Seek God with all heart and soul, meaning not just to seek Him but to seek Him diligently.
One who impresses the world with the mouth to seek God cannot find God.
From this year, seek God living for God by waiting on Him.
Isaiah 40:31 encourages, “But those who wait on the Lord shall renew their strength; They shall mount up with wings like eagles, they shall run and not be weary, they shall walk and not faint.”
What is it denying you not to wait on God?
Without doubt, one who waits on God will gain strength from God.
Waiting on God is to gain the strength from God.
Psalm 27:14 confirms to gain strength from God, when waiting on Him, stating, “Wait on the Lord; Be of good courage, And He shall strengthen your heart; Wait, I say, on the Lord!”
Psalm 59:9 records, “I will wait for You, O You his Strength; For God is my defense.”
There is boldness and character in anyone who waits on God.
Boldness and character are a winning combination.
With boldness and character, one will stand in the word of God with confidence to stand against the wickedness of the world.
King David had his heart for God.
With his heart on God, he was bold to walk and not run.
Psalm 23:4 records the testimony of David, “Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil; For You are with me; Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me.”
Proverbs 4:12, ” When you walk, your steps will not be hindered, and when you run, you will not stumble.”
Waiting on God to gain what it takes to remain stable in the instability of the world.
Make it a way of living for God is the character of waiting on God.
Wait on God in living obediently to God.
God told Adam not to eat a particular fruit, but he could not wait and was disobedient.
Saul failed to wait for the sacrifice in an attempt to fight with enemies, but he could not wait.
A simple disobedience to God is an avenue to self-destruction.
In your new season, to arrive at divine assignment demands waiting on God.
Without a doubt, waiting on God leads to finding God for one who waits on Him.
Why not strive to wait on God?
Give regard to the word of God, regardless of the challenges that may distract living for God.
Make it a way of life, waiting on God.
Prayer for today: Pray to be enabled to wait on God.
