Acts 3
Lameness is when movement is disabled, difficult, or impossible. A man that has been lamed in any area of life is in a good position to share the experience. It is absolutely certain that no man would love to be in any position of lameness concerning any issue of life. The lame man the Peter healed at the temple has been in that situation since birth. So many are actually lame and do not know it. They have been lame ever since they were in the motherÕs womb because of generational curses. Are you having a ÒlameÓ experience in any area of your life? Are you at the right location and the right time of receiving your deliverance? If you can identify your location and time then your situation is half-solved. The lame man was there at the gate of the temple at the hour of prayer. When he saw Peter and John, he asked for alms, but being the hour of prayer, Peter and John had more to offer him. Acts 3:4-5, ÒAnd fixing his eyes on him, with John, Peter said, ÔLook at us.Õ So he gave them his attention, expecting to receive something from them.Ó In your lameness, you have been inside, not outside, of the temple so many times yet you have never received. If you will begin to come with attention, expecting manifestation, your history will be changed. Peter gave the reason why the lame man was able to receive. Acts 3:16, ÒAnd His name, through faith in His name, has made this man strong, whom you see and know. Yes, the faith which comes through Him has given him this perfect soundness in the presence of you all.Ó If you will give attention with expectation, the faith which comes through Him will deliver you from your lameness.
