Psalm 121

You have been looking for help from the wrong sources for a long time. Your thinking has been limited. Your help will not come from where you look; it will not come from your own thinking. Confirmed by God as the king for the children of < ?xml version='1.0' encoding='utf-8'?>Israel, Saul began to look and think of help from the people that were surrounding him. Saul was to fight the Philistines, but he could not wait for SamuelÕs role to carry out the burnt offering. Saul took the law of God into his own hands by presenting the offering. This was limited only to the priesthood. Are you planning to take the law into your hands? This is not from God. The fact that you cannot see right ahead of you, does not mean that your Samuel is not nearby. At SamuelÕs arrival, he confronted Saul for presenting the offering. 1Samuel 13:11-12, Ò11 And Samuel said, ÒWhat have you done?Ó Saul said, ÒWhen I saw that the people were scattered from me, and that you did not come within the days appointed, and that the Philistines gathered together at Michmash, 12 then I said, ÔThe Philistines will now come down on me at Gilgal, and I have not made supplication to the LORD.Õ Therefore I felt compelled, and offered a burnt offering.Ó You know what God can do. You know what He has done. You also know what He is doing. Waiting for God will not make you a loser. God is faithful. He cannot be otherwise. We have no excuse that will stand before Him. Think of it; He alone has brought you this far, and He will not leave you nor forsake you. Trust in Him. Do not turn from His ways. Are you wondering where your help will come from? Psalm121:1-2, Ò1 I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence comes my help? 2 My help comes from the LORD, Who made heaven and earth.Ó Your help will surely come. It will never be too late when you wait for GodÕs visitation. Saul could not wait, and he lost all sight of GodÕs calling. Lift up your eyes to the Lord who has His dwelling place in Zion.
