MONTH OF ABIDING
Psalm 91

Pray to the One, “Who alone has immortality, dwelling in unapproachable light, whom no man has seen or can see, to whom be honor and everlasting power. Amen.” (1 Timothy 6:16) Go ahead and ask Him because He has given us the grace to ask, seek, and knock He will hear you as long as your prayer is in line with His plan and purpose for your life. God is a prayer answering God. Pray that God will cause you to become a constant dweller in the secret place of His holy name, and that you will abide under His shadow. Psalm 91:1-2, “He who dwells in the secret place of the Most High shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty. 2 I will say of the LORD. “He is my refuge and my fortress; My God, in Him I will trust.”” It will take only one that dwells in the secret of God and abides under His shadow, to testify God as refuge and fortress. As the month advances, continue to ask Him to keep you in his dwelling so you can abide under His shadow. Where or what is the secret place of the Most High God? The secret place of God is no longer a secret to those who know how to spend time in the pages of the Bible by His grace. The secret place is where the infallible living word of God is documented. The secret place of the Lord is in the word of God. Do you care to dwelling in the secret place of the Lord? Today, begin to take up the word of God and spend a sacrificial time. What is the secret?  Psalm 25:14, “The secret of the LORD is with those who fear Him, And He will show them His covenant.” The fear of God is faith in God; the fear of God is to trust in God, knowing that He will not fail you. The fear of God is the boldness and character that makes a winner out of a believer, and the fear of God is what gives believers the upper hand over the forces of the wicked. It is not possible to fear God and fail in every area of life. It is one thing to know about the fear of God; it is another thing to actually know the fear of God. When there is a deliberate and conscious living under the fear of God, then dwelling in the secret place of God becomes true indeed, while abiding under the shadow of the Most High God becomes a lifestyle. The fear of God should not be limited to just the word of mouth, but rooted in the heart. One of the characteristics of those that fear God is: having an eye toward Him. The fear of God is what will determine every step that is to be taken in the new month if you will pray and ask Him to enable you to dwell in the secret place of the Most High God, and to abide in His shadow. He is faithful to His children that call on Him. Call on Him.
