DENY ADVERSARIES OF OPEN DOOR Pt. 2

Faith Capsule: Take to the word and the word will see you through.

2 Kings 6

See Right: It is the promise you have received that will make you see right and not see wrong. The Israelites entered into their supernatural breakthrough when they came out of bondage of over four hundred years and set for the journey to be established in their supernatural breakthrough (the journey to the Promised Land). As they continued in their journey, they encountered a road block…impenetrable one.  The bible recorded in Joshua 6:1-2, “Now Jericho was securely shut up because of the children of Israel; none went out, and none came in.  And the Lord said to Joshua: “See! I have given Jericho into your hand, its king, and the mighty men of valor.” The word commanded Joshua to see victory when victory was not yet in place for the Israelites. It is faith to see a way where there was no way. Just as was commanded, the Israelites took over Jericho and could not be stopped by the wall.
Elisha and his servant needed a supernatural breakthrough from the destruction that was set against them in the hand of the king of Syria. They were surrounded by horses and chariots and a great army. When Elisha’s servant saw it, he cried out, “…Alas, my master! What shall we do?” (2 King 6:15)  Elisha could see a greater force in place for him as a result; he could not be moved but responded to his servant “…Do not fear, for those who are with us are more than those who are with them.”  And Elisha prayed, and said, “Lord, I pray, open his eyes that he may see.” Then the Lord opened the eyes of the young man, and he saw. And behold, the mountain was full of horses and chariots of fire all around Elisha.’” (2 Kings 6:16-17) Word of God is true to deliver. Take to the word and the word will see you through.
Meditation: Meditating as commanded by God is what will make man to be in position not to confess negative; it will keep man not to see wrongly; meditation will keep man from thinking negative thought. Meditation will keep man’s heart to diligently remain focus on God. God spoke to Joshua after the death of Moses stating, “This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate in it day and night that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success.” (Joshua 1:8) The word of God that is power will not depart from your mouth only when it becomes your thinking day and night…meditation will help establish our mind with the word and cause our ways to prosper. Those who think right will see and say what is right and then have it right.

Prayer for today: Ask God to help you engage the word constantly and consistently.
