FINDING GOD

FAITH CAPSULE: One that seeks God is going to find God.

Isaiah 54

John 12:26 identifies serving God, “If anyone serves Me, let him follow Me; and where I am, there My servant will be also. If anyone serves Me, him My Father will honor.”
If seeking God to find God is not possible, God would not have asked for seeking Him.
God is true to seek Him, follow Him diligently, and find Him.
David is an example that followed God with his heart, and the Bible records, “…My servant David, who kept My commandments and who followed Me with all his heart, to do only what was right in My eyes.” (1 Kings 14:8)
Are you with the desire to seek God diligently, following His righteousness by His word?
Obedience to the word of God will walk the way of righteousness.
Obeying the word of God is seeking diligently to keep self in God as a treasure to God. Exodus 19:5 confirms, “Now, therefore, if you will indeed obey My voice and keep My covenant, then you shall be a special treasure to Me above all people; for all the earth is Mine.”
With faith, it is possible to obey the word of God, seeking God diligently to please God. (Hebrews 11:6)
Among ways of seeking God are:
TO COME OUT OF WICKEDNESS
One that lives right is not wicked to seek and find God.
The wicked one does not live by the word of God.
Are you walking according to His word of direction that leads against the wickedness of this world?
GOD will judge the wicked world at His appointed time.
Ecclesiastes 8:11-12 warns, “Because the sentence against an evil work is not executed speedily, therefore the heart of the sons of men is fully set in them to do evil. Though a sinner does evil a hundred times, and his days are prolonged, yet I surely know that it will be well with those who fear God, who fear before Him.” To walk in the word of God is the evidence of fear for God, to come out wickedness. Fear God to seeking God.
TAKE A STAND TO CLAIM THE HERITAGE OF SERVANTS OF THE LORD
One that seeks God diligently is the evidence of one that follows the word of God as the servant of the Lord.
One that is not a mouthful servant of God will inherit from God as an obedient before God. Isaiah 54:17 records, “No weapon formed against you shall prosper, and every tongue which rises against you in judgment You shall condemn. This is the heritage of the servants of the Lord, and their righteousness is from Me,” Says the Lord.”
Heritage of God belongs to one that gives self to God. Paul, the apostle admonishes all, “So now, brethren, I commend you to God and to the word of His grace, which is able to build you up and give you an inheritance among all those who are sanctified.” (Acts 20:32)
Like a seed, sow yourself in the word of God to seek God diligently.
In all your ways, follow God to be standing in His word.
Seek God diligently to please Him and be rewarded to see Him.

Prayer for today: Ask for the strength to seek God diligently.
