FAITH CAPSULE: Are you learning from the word of God, the source of having hope in God in this wicked world?

2 Timothy 3

The reason to celebrate Jesus always is the understanding that God gave His all to all not to become a victim of the wicked world but to live life abundantly for His glory. 
John 10:10 records, “The thief does not come except to steal, and to kill, and to destroy. I have come that they may have life and that they may have it more abundantly.”
Are you giving all to the word of God not to become a victim of the thief, the wicked one?
The word of God declares in Genesis 6:5, “Then the Lord saw that the wickedness of man was great in the earth and that every intent of the thoughts of his heart was only evil continually.”
Are you giving attention to searching for yourself, not living as a wicked one before God?
With no exception, God has given ALL, His word.
Learn not to be wicked but to live life abundantly for His glory.
God, in His word, has given what it takes to live life, to be complete in Him.
2 Timothy 3:16-17 records, “All Scripture is given by inspiration of God and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness, that the man of God may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work.”
God has given Himself to all in His word as a way of life.
Have you been giving yourself to the word of God that is profitable for living life?
Are you learning from the word of God, the source of hope in God in this wicked world?
Romans 15:4 points out, “For whatever things were written before were written for our learning, that we through the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope”
Give yourself to the word of God, the wisdom of God, to learn the word of God, to gain understanding and knowledge, not to become a victim of the wicked world.
The word of God, Jesus Christ, is the wisdom of God.
1 Corinthians 1:30 records, “But of Him you are in Christ Jesus, who became for us wisdom from God—and righteousness and sanctification and redemption.” 
Learn to know the truth of God, fear Him, and be free to live life for the glory of God.
One that gives self to the word of God that is profitable for doctrine, reproof, correction, instruction in righteousness, that such may be complete, thoroughly equipped for every good work, wickedness shall not be marked on such. (2 Timothy 3:16-17)
All should give themselves to the word of God, which is for learning, and the patience and comfort of the Scriptures might have hope not live life as a wicked one.
Learn the wisdom of God, and gain knowledge which is the way to live life stability.
Isaiah 33:6 counsels, “Wisdom and knowledge will be the stability of your times, and the strength of salvation; The fear of the Lord is His treasure.”
Gain wisdom and knowledge to fear God that God treasures.

Prayer for today: Pray that you will give yourself to learning the word of God.
