GIVE ALL TO GOD

ACKNOWLEDGE HIM CONSTANTLY

FAITH CAPSULE: Give Him constant and consistent attention.

Jeremiah 2

When there is a failure to acknowledge God, there will be knowledge of turning away from the world.
Psalm 78:5-7 states, “For He established a testimony in Jacob, and appointed a law in Israel, which He commanded our fathers, that they should make them known to their children; that the generation to come might know them, the children who would be born, that they may arise and declare them to their children, that they may set their hope in God, and not forget the works of God, but keep His commandments.”
God is a jealous God.
He deserves all the attention.
His word testifies that He put everything in place for all not to go far from Him but to remember and acknowledge Him for all He has done.
Despite all, the children of Israel constantly go far from Him by following idols. Have you been going far from Him? God spoke through Jeremiah to the children of Israel, “What injustice have your fathers found in Me, that they have gone far from Me, Have followed idols, And have become idolaters? Neither did they say, ‘Where is the LORD, Who brought us up out of the land of Egypt, Who led us through the wilderness, through a land of deserts and pits, through a land of drought and the shadow of death, through a land that no one crossed and where no one dwelt?’” (Jeremiah 2:4-6)
Know God as a jealous God.
Give Him constant and consistent attention for all He has done and doing in your life.
When God spoke through Jeremiah to the children of Israel, they failed to do right by not identifying Him for the past and not acknowledging Him for the present.
In your new position, identify Him for what He has done for you and what He is doing.
Are you serving God, seeking Him diligently?
Serving outside of God is evidence of a lack of faith before God.
God is the God that does not overlook sin.
As a believer, acknowledge God for what He has done, what He is doing, and what He will do.
When there is a failure to acknowledge Him, there will be knowledge of turning away to another god.
God declared, “…Know therefore and see that it is an evil and bitter thing that you have forsaken the Lord your God, and the fear of Me is not in you says the LORD of hosts.” (Jeremiah2:19)
It is never too late to stand up where there is evidence of falling short. However, not to rise and stand but to remain on the ground is self-destruction.
Daniel is an example in the Bible that continually gave attention to God.
He refused to serve another God, the evidence of giving attention to God.
Daniel 11:32 records, “…but the people who know their God shall be strong, and carry out great exploits.”
Live to acknowledge God in always.

Prayer for today: Ask God to search you and help redirect you from every wrong step you must have taken away from Him.
