FAITH CAPSULE: There is a need to live obediently, walking in Him.
Isaiah 64
Walk with God by waiting on God not to be careless in the life journey.
Waiting on God is the character of obedience to the word of God that does not fail to direct and preserve.
God waits to enable one who actively obeys His word.
Isaiah 64:4 testifies, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, Nor has the eye seen any God besides You, Who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
Without a doubt, wait on God to experience God walking with you because He waits for those who wait on Him.
Are you living in obedience to the word of God?
Remember, the word of God is God. (John 1:1)
The word of God is Him.
Obey God to walk in Him.
Throughout the pages of the Bible, those who walk in His word arrive at the direction of God (the center of His divine assignment) for such.
Enoch walked with God and could not see death.
The testimony of Enoch is the one who walked with God and did not die untimely death physically, spiritually, or emotionally.
Genesis 6:9 records the story of Noah, “Noah was a just man, perfect in his generations. Noah walked with God.”
Noah walked with God and could not become a victim of the corruption of his time on the face of the earth.
Walking in the word of God is obedience to the word of God.
With desire, pray before God to walk obediently to His word.
Just like Enoch and Noah, to walk with God is to walk before Him.
Abraham walked before God and was blameless before God to claim the promise of God. (Genesis 17:1)
The word of God yesterday, today, and tomorrow shall perform to perfect the life of obedience.
Walking with God is walking before God, to walk in Him.
The word of God points out that walking with or before God is walking in Him. Colossians 2:6 emphasizes that God is yesterday, the same tomorrow, and forever, stating, “As you, therefore, have received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in Him.”
Walk in God to arrive at the divine assignment.
There is a need to live obediently, living by walking in Him.
Obedient to His word is the character of a believer walking in Him.
Prayerfully, begin to walk in Him.
For example, the wife of Lot looked back against the word of God and did not walk in the word of God to become terminated. (Genesis 19:26)
Which way are you walking before God?
Are you walking in the word of God or the way of the world?
Walking in the way of the world is not living by the word of God.
Do not live a life of waste.
Prayer for today: Pray that God shall enable you to walk in Him.
