FAITH CAPSULE: A believer who cannot stand in prayer will fall in pain.
Luke 11:1-8, Mark 11:20-26
Are you experiencing a hindrance to prayer when you take a stand? The Word stated, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses.”
Are you holding one unforgiving?
Among the roots of being unable to forgive is pride.
Pride can be described as a personal ride to self-destruction.
Pride does not have a place before God but sets one with pride away from the presence of God.
Unforgiving one another is one of the reasons for pride.
Are you giving yourself pride?
One with pride hardly realizes the spirit of repentance before God.
Pride is the character that takes a position to fail before God.
Pride will not allow prayer to pass beyond the house roof.
Disciples of Jesus approached Him, asking to be taught how to pray.
Jesus states, “And forgive us our sins, for we also forgive everyone who is indebted to us” (Luke 11:4). This makes it clear that before God can forgive a debt of sin, one must have been able to forgive others.
Unforgiveness is a prayer-hindering spirit.
An unforgiving Christian has taken the position of an unfulfilling mission.
Christians are on a mission of fulfillment driven by answered prayer.
How long do you think you can go without self-hindered prayer?
Believers should constantly assess themselves before God; otherwise, one on a mission journey will be prematurely terminated.
It cannot be emphasized enough when Jesus states in Mark 11:25, “And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him that your Father in heaven may also forgive your trespasses.”
A believer who cannot stand in prayer will fall in pain and not gain the presence of God.
God wants all to be constant and consistent in forgiving those who are indebted.
In life, one who knows the importance of forgiving knows to stand in place for prayer breakthroughs.
Today, if you will forgive others, you have an open door to a miracle of getting an answer over a long-awaited breakthrough.
Allow God to work on your behalf by flushing out unforgiving spirits.
Allow God to work on your behalf by flushing out unforgiving spirits.
Praying with a forgiving spirit is a mountain-moving prayer.
God cannot be deceived, and He sees the heart of all.
Word buttressed, “The spirit of a man is the lamp of the Lord, searching all the inner depths of his heart.” (Proverbs 20:27)
None can go to God with a claim of forgiveness, while the layer of unforgiving exists in the inner depth of the heart.
It is important to know, “…if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses.” (Mark 11:26)
One living with pride is not with God.
God is Holy. With sin, no one can see Him.
Prayer for today: Ask to be delivered from the spirit of not forgiving.
