FAITH CAPSULE: Understand and know to wait on God.
Isaiah 40
When expectation is not in place, discouragement takes over.
Delays can be discouraging when there is a lack of manifestation of expectations.
As a believer who knows God, delay is not a denial by God.
Wait on God with all the heart, not with the mouth.
Waiting on God cannot be wasted.
Isaiah 64:4 encourages, “For since the beginning of the world Men have not heard nor perceived by the ear, nor has the eye seen any God besides You, who acts for the one who waits for Him.”
Delay, Denial, and doubt can be persistent in life, prompting discouragement, but God waits to act for those who wait on Him.
Pray to be encouraged, and God will not fail you. Wait on Him!
It is understanding and knowledge to wait and gain from God.
Wait on God, walk by His word.
Disobedient to God is walking against the word of God as iniquity.
With iniquity, there is no place to hide before God.
Is the iniquity of you before God?
Job makes all realize there is no hiding place before God.
Job 34:22 records, “There is no darkness nor shadow of death where the workers of iniquity may hide themselves.”
Hiding your iniquity from all cannot possibly hide from God.
Jonah was called but snubbed God and could not hide but walked against the word of God.
Jonah was called to Nineveh but fled to Tarshish to become exposed to pain.
Are you like Jonah?
In your waiting do not walk against the word of God.
In your waiting let your thought be right before God.
What thinking or asking before God shall provoke the move of God?
What are you looking for?
What you are thinking is what you are asking, and what you are asking is what you are thinking.
Ephesians 3:20 confirms, “Now to Him who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that works in us.”
The word of God in you is the power to provoke an answer.
Always think or ask positively for yourself or others to experience positive transformation.
In your waiting on God know that
God alone is worthy.
In the delay of your expectation to become manifested, turning away from God shall not have a place in such.
Why not pray that God enables you to turn to Him in all your expectations, keeping your eyes on Him?
Whatever one looks up to, turning eyes beside God, is identified as worthless.
The Psalmist prayed against looking at worthlessness.
Psalm 119:37 records, “Turn away my eyes from looking at worthless things, And revive me in Your way.”
God reverses the irreversible.
He shall revive you.
Prayer for today: Ask that the goodness and mercy of God begin to answer over your life, not to look at worthless things, but to keep eyes on Him as a way of life.
